SANTACRUZAN in The Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea presented a colourful Sagala with the participation of the energetic and vibrant youth of the Filipino Community in the Parish.
Celebrated in May, the month of flowers, Santacruzan 2016, second year running, was zealous in depicting the traditional characters in elaborate detail. The inclusion of the Image of Lady of Manaoag and the Black Nazarene (a replica) completed the procession.
This Marian event commenced with the usual Nine-Day Rosary Novena led daily by the assigned sub-community and it ended with the Filipino Eucharistic Celebration, officiated by Father Angel Luciano, CICM.
